N/T to Turbo Swap

I know this should go in the "Installing a turbo 4g63..." thread but i can't post there. Anyway, I have a 92 Eclipse nt and a 90 Talon TSI. The tranny is bad on the TSI, 5th and rev dont work. On the 92, the water pump is shot and the engine is going out soon. I want to put the TSI engine in the eclipse. I have read up and i know it's possible and cheap since i have both cars already. The only problem is the stock n/t clutch can't hold the power. Could i use the TSI clutch? I really dont want to buy an aftermarket clutch. I was just thinking is there anyway that the TSI clutch would fit with the n/t tranny? Thanks to anyone who could help me.

Yes you can use the turbo clutch assembly with the non turbo transmission. Just make sure that you also use the turbo flywheel. Both clutch assemblies have the same spline size and teeth count.

Yea i have read up and down that forum multiple times. That's the one i wanted to post this in originally but couldn't. I was just unsure if this would work because of the AWD TSI and the FWD eclipse. I wasn't sure if too much was different in terms of the flywheel, and clutch, or if it was just the ouput to the axels that was different. Thanks again

what about those of us that are using an automatic and a 94. that was an excellent article but didnt include the 94 yr and an automatic trans. im in the process of aquiring a 6 bolt turbo swap for my car.
