I just installed an evo 16g turbo and went to connect my boost controller and noticed there is no nipple on the turbo like the stock one. Is this normal for this turbo? Am I going to have to run it to the bov-to-manifold tubing?

16G's don't have vacuum nipples on them. You should have one on your turbo outlet pipe somewhere, other wise its a good idea to put one there. But, for now you could run it of of the BOV line.

With my car and my buddies Mazdaspeed Protege we drilled and tapped the outlet pipe with a nipple and its worked perfectly. Just put a bit of plumbers tape or something on the screw side of the nipple.
