Ok after two fires and a complete rebuild.....I think we are done!!! The car drives very well, boost spikes to about 15-16 and holds at about 10-13 have about 700 on the new turbo. Here is my question....everyone is quick to say when time to turn up the boost you have to have a data logger ( which I do) but what good is it to me if have no idea what these members mean. I would like to turn up the boost to about 18 psi, how would I know from my logger if its safe to do so.

Thanks

Turn the boost up, dont go lean - ADD fuel ^

Read up in the tuning forum and definately check out the Tech articles.
ECU & Tuning articles

Its not only the fact of having a logger, you need a way to actually tune the car whether it be piggy back, full stand alone, chip, etc. Everything you do to your car depends on your goals.

Thanks for the replys

I'm not rising the boost until I get my injectors. But how do I know base on my logger if the car is running right? not to lean or rich. What I'm trying to find out if there is some way to make some since of the info the logger is giving me

head to your local bookstore and pick up a book on engine tuning. I know its old school but reading up on stuff will give you the basic knowledge to do something with all the information a logger can give you.

Once you get so far, youll realize books and seat time are way more bang for buck than any performance mod. :thumb:

Without a system to control fuel, all you can do is check your logs for signs that you are running lean. If you are not, you could up the boost a bit. We do have a log advice forum. As a new member you can't post there yet but I think you will find answers to all your questions there.
