Ok Ive had this problem for awhile, On my rear passenger speaker I get the BUZZING noise whenever I turn the car on. its interference or something like that. Ive tried them little audio filters you plug in. That didnt work.
I have cables running from the speakers up the middle of the car undering the arm rest. Would it help to run them along the sides of the car.
Or is there a better cable I can buy that is insulated better?
please let me know this probably is very very annoying..

The filters that you installed on your speakers are probably high pass crossovers. Try installing a noise filter on your CD player itself.

If you have an aftermarket amp, place the power wires on one side and the signal and speaker wires on the other side.

WELL FIRST YOU NEED TO EXPLAIN ALITTLE BETTER HOW YOU HAVE IT wired are the 6x9 amped? what do you mean you have cable coming to the speaker? why is it in the middle of the car? what other audio visual equipment do you have?

I couldnt tell you what size the amps are I forgot? i havent messed around with it in about a year. its been in storage since I was in Iraq.
but I ony have speaker wires about to the speakers.
but everything runs up the middle because that was the shortest way up to the cd.
When I unplug a audio cable(red and white cable) the buzzing in the rear speaker stops.
I tried the Noise filter, it plugged in the back of my cd player to the audio cables. (nothing but speaker wire was hooked up to the speakers.
I have a crossover under my passenger seat but I dont know how to hook it up.
its just a big mess, when my car gets back from having a engine rebuild ill sort everything out i guess,

for the question of what other devices to do i have hooked up I also have a eclipse dvd system, the unit is on top of my cd deck and the brain is under my drivers side seat.

The noise filter should plug in on the POWER cable of the cd player. You need to rewire your system to have audio and power wires on different sides of the vehicle.

k when I get my car back Im going to put the power wires on the drivers side and the audio and speaker wires on the passenger side.
does anyone know how to hook up a crossover?
I think the speakers plug into it and then run wires from the cross over to the headunit?
sound right?

EDIT, Ok its not a crossover, a crossover lets you adjust the settings. thats not what it is,
damn I forgot the name of it.
the way it was it had nothing but speaker wires going to it. from the speakers to the headunit

The unit you have is probably a passive crossover, which doesn't have any settings to adjust. Do you have any pictures of it?
