Well, my Talon is a basically stock FWD, the first thing I did was put on a K&N FIPK and some 8mm plug wires and new plugs, that didn't really change much. I bought a Greddy type S BOV from a guy here and found some IC piping on ebay for $15 bucks and put that stuff on, man what a difference!!! It pulls so much harder than before, can't wait to see what a couple more pounds of boost will do! Anyway, whats up guys, been a member for a little while now, but this is my first post, I'm on my second DSM,had a 93 Laser all stock for a few years about 10 years ago, wanted that turbo again!!!

Just wait until you get an exhaust on there..... huge difference. Glad to see you came back for some more DSM action

I would say other upgrades before upping the boost. The stock system isnt ment for anything more then 15-16psi without putting question's in the mind of the owner if there is enough fuel. I would say do the basic stage 0, and 1 mod's, then once all the fuel is done, and you have management then upgrade to a 14b, or 16g, or 20g and up the boost then. You will see much better result's, and your car will be set-up very well.

Yep, I'm just trying to clean up the restrictions before I do anything else, it's my wife's car and we are using it as a daily driver too, so I don't plan on getting real extreme with it, I have a 5.0 Mustang that takes up a ton of my time and money, but I told her I would try to make it as quick as I can without spending alot of money and keeping it as reliable and economical as possible.

My gsx is my daily driver too. I got it last year and convinced myself I was just going to get new wheels and thats it. Then said ok, I'll ugrade the intake. Now Iconvinced myself I'll just do the exhaust to give it a bit more oomph and sound, and this thread isnt helping! Haha but thats awesome. Goodjob.

haha samething with me, i was just got to do basic upgrades, then i decided i wanted a turbo upgrade and then i did that and wasnt happy enough so now im going all out and putting in a 6-bolt, new tranny, and and about 8k worth of upgrades. Its so addictive but i love it :hellyeah:

Just make sure u do all the neccassary mods like fuel pump, afpr, injectors and something to tune with like safc and logger before u start cranking up the boost. Better safe the sorry. The stock fuel setup will be good for about 15 pounds of boost but not much after that. Good luck and welcome to the forums

hey man sometimes the lil things make the most differance, and thats the good things about these cars because they have huge potential, you just have to find the things to unlock all the potential.there are a ton of free mods you can do to these cars that make a huge differance, and i think that is the fun of it trying to tinker around and squeeze all the power we can out of these cars. so good luck and be careful because with a few mods these cars can be v8 eaters LOL
