i found a 92 non turbo engine, but i dont know if its a 6-bolt or 7.

it is a 4g63.

im doing a 6-bolt swap, but i need to know if theres a difference in the turbo and non turbo

i plan on rebuilding the hole block, i just need to know if it the same thing

well, it is likely a 6-bolt motor. You can count the bolt holes on the flywheel side of the crank to verify.

You are better off with a turbo motor, as there are quite a few differences.

oil squirters?? i know the head is different, the pistons have higher comp ratios,, but as far as the block...my only guess would be oil squirters.

are the oil squirters something i can put in, or are they really nessesary.

also is the block and head physically different or is it just the internals, as i said i plan on replaceing all of them.

i dont plan on dropping it in right away, im going to build it up.

do some searching man..
seriously...

some people say oil squirters are not needed, so use them.. I always use them, i like the idea of spraying oil on my piston skirts...

The NA doesnt have oil squirters, but you can have a machine shop install them. The cylinder head is exactly the same. Its the cams that are diferent. And the engine internals except for the pistons are the same.

i plan on running all forged internals so i guess i dont really have to worry about the oil squerters, besides... high oil pressure and royal purpal 10w-40 should help keep everything running good.

a few other questions i have though:

i know theres a spot to put a knock senser, but do i have to tap it or anything to get it in?

and im going back to the junk yard tomorrow, dose anyone have any pointers on how to pull the engine out?? ive got it started but it seems like it still hanging on to something
