Well here is what I am doing. Taking a Laser Turbo engine and dropping it in the talon. But i am wanting to replace that engine with a N\A engine from any other car(4g63).

Will the N\A engine drop in the exact same way as the Turbo engine?
Will i have to make any major changes in anything, drive train, electronics, fuel?

WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF !

So you're taking an turbo block engine and putting it into your talon. THEN, replacing it again?

the block casting is the same for the 63T and the 63 n/a. Same tranny bolt holes. Same motor mount and rollstop holes. When swapping in an n/a block, you'll have super high compression for a turbo. . .

Your ecu is a turbo ecu, since you have a tsi; so timing control and everything else should be fine for a turbo situation. Also, w/ the n/a block you won't have the oil squirters that come w/ turbo blocks. These cool down the pistons (prevents pre-ignition; which you'll be more prone, since you're running the n/a compression ratio).

I'm taking the Turbo Engine out of the Laser and putting it into the talon. Then will be replacing the laser with an N\A engine.

Exactly what Onster was saying. Your talking about running a Higher compression engine, on a turbo ecu thats in the laser now. It would have exactly the knock he's talking about and in the long run would reak havoc on your internals.

NT rolling chassis for lasers can be had for 400-800 dollars all over e-bay. I'd just do that, you could probably part the rest of the turbo laser out for that much alone.

Do you already have a N/A engine?

I think he's taking the 4G63T out of his Laser, putting it into his Talon. Then, he wants to buy a 4G63 and put it in the Laser. Everything will be the same, and you should be fine, maybe some minor stuff. But I must ask the question... Why not leave the Laser turbo and just drop the N/A in the Talon? That's only one motor swap, and only putting it in, at that.
