SAFC question.

I just wanted to say that i did search but i did not find my problem. I just got a used SAFC with a harness and everything. I wired it up using the diagram and here is my problem. The SAFC lights up and everything but the screen won't come on. Did i wire it wrong? How do i get the screen to come on? Like the numbers and stuff. I want to know if i wired it wrong because the safc and the buttons light up and everything but the screen just wont come on. Or did i buy a bad SAFC that dosent work? Any help is appreciated as soon as possible. Thank you.

It sounds like it's wired correctly if the buttons turn on. There isn't a separate power wire for the screen.

It could be the cable's become disconnected internally. Take a look at the bottom of this link under "No display or other power problems":

The entire power supply is on one( + ground) wires. If the lights come on, and no screen the screen is junk. My 1st time wiring mine the power came in and out and the whole thing would light up and turn off. Not just the screen. Tell the dude you bought it from that you got hosed. Take pictures of it "functioning" Good luck man.
