Turbo question

Hey im about to rebuild my 14b and port it and i wanted to know if when i put the turbo back together can i put the compressor side housing inlet pointing down, or does it have to be up like it is? Is there any technical problems, like will the turbo get unbalanced or anything. Any information greatly appreciated.

There is a pin that clocks it . Its possible to re-clock it if you move the pin.

like dave99 said you can reclock it, but the question arrises as to why? Setting up a unique intercooler?
