Built Engine

I am looking to get a built engine because I have a blown head gasket and they will have to getting into everything anyways...so i was thinking just have Slow Boy Racing build my engine. It is only a hour from my home. But I hear they aren't the best for engine build ups. Buschar is suppose to be pretty good, but IDK. Please give me some feed back. I don't care about what mods I have now. I can't put anything on the car till the engine is fixed. I will do all the support mods that is needed after the engine is up and running. I am here for the engine, please do not reply in this thread and tell me what you think I should do to get power. The engine is broke so just talk about the engine. I am just being strat foward. Sorry if you are jacked.

Wow! What a way to get people to not respond to your thread. We are not allowed to post feedback on vendors. I can say this though, they have alot of customers. And the have been building up alot of cars. Some they even compete with. This is not feedback. Just stating the facts.

It's Buschur why not post up on that forum as well and ask people opinions about what you should do. Before you decide whether or not you want to drop the money on a built engine do you plan on making big horsepower ? Stock internals can handle alot. If you going to build the motor check out Slowboy's 2.3 stroker kit. If you don't plan on making 500ish horsepower. I'd probably just put the head gasket on it and wait before building the engine since your goals may change. Also they don't have to get into you motor and pull the motor out and change all the parts. All that needs to be done is pull the head put the gasket on and put the head back on.

i am looking to make about 450whp. i am think of just keeping it a 2.0 and not making at a stroker... but this car isn't my daliy drive so i would care if it had down time or if i had to put down some money i want this car to be a project car.
