Hey I have a 97 GST and right now im running the stock injectors with a walbro 190 and a 16g. Right now Im running 11-12 lbs of boost. Im planning on going to the track today and I was wondering if I was to use the Lucas Octane boost would I be able to turn my boost up a little. Im trying to break into the 13s. Last year my last pass was a 14.0 @ 106. I now have a front mount and a 3" downpipe as to last year I had the sidemount and only 2 1/2" Greddy catback. Thanks for the help.

Do you have a logger setup? If not, its not a real good idea to increase the boost as you have no way to verify what happening. The octane booster really doesn't do much. If anything, the best route to run a couple more psi would be to run some race fuel. With a race fuel mix, 15 psi should be safe. I say should becasue every car is different.

Go to your local parts store and buy a can of C16. That will allow you to increase the boost because with the high octane rating, it's a more stable chemical compound and you get less predetonation when under pressure, and less knock.

and destroy your O2 sensor.

Go for the highest unleaded you can find and get a logger, once you have satisfied these then try to shoot 15lbs and see where it gets you.

PM me if you are interested in my old logger setup.
