2. What type of boost controller do you recomend for a turbo that size ? Manual or electric, or does it matter ?

It doesn't really matter. If you want convience of adjusting boost inside the car go with electronic. I think they function better and control boost more accuately with out spikes.

Manual boost controllers are fine as well. you just have to get out of your car to make an adjustment. they're simpler, easier to use.

I have a Greddy Profec B Spec II

How do you like that greddy boost controller ? I was thinking about going with that. Does that double as a boost guage too(does it show boost readings)?

I like it.. it took a little bit to get used to.. but it's really nice. dead on accurate.

Yes it does double as a boost gauge. It has a high a low boost setting, a warning setting. it will display in PSI or KPA.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Does anyone know if I will have to get a new fan, like a slimline ? Or will I be able to make the stock one fit ?

yea, I plan on going external wastegate. So you're saying I dont need a boost controller ? btw, Am i missing anything in my list on the first post. I plan on ordering soon.
Thanks

If you only want to run wastegate spring pressure than that's fine. You won't need a controller. If you ever want to increase boost than you WILL need a controller of some type.

about your list - if your car is 100% stock now - you might need some odds and ends to bring everything together. it kind of varies by car. You'll need good clutch and possibly some tranny work. run good QUALITY fluids... etc.

Slim line fans are just for more room if you need it. If you have a thicker radiator, you might need one, if you're stock, you maybe ok. You'll have to see when you get everything in the car.

If your gonna go external off the o2 I think your gonna need some slim fans if you still have a/c. It will be a tight fit.
