I was having some trouble when my car is punched around 5000 rpm's it starts to sputter and ive been told two things ether my plugs are bad or i have a boost leak so i checked my plugs and they all seem to be good but for the boost leak test i need to find an easier way to test rather than building my own contraption but if thats the only way i need to find the easiest way to make one HELP

This is the one that I use: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=201554
It works great. I got everything from Home Depot. Altogether it cost me $17. Of that amount $9 was for the guage which was in the area where they have equipment related to natural gas. You can use your aftermarket boost guage if you prefer but the tester with guage is easier.

When you checked the plugs did you confirm the correct gap size of .028"? Too large of a gap can cause misfire under load.

Do you have a logger?

What spark plugs and wires are you using? What are they gapped at?

Here is the other, classic, boost leak tester. Very easy to make and use. Pressurize your system to about 20-25 psi according to your aftermarket boost gauge, listen for leaks, spray soapy water to pinpoint leaks, and fix the leaks.

Once the Boost leak check device is attached to the turbo inlet or Throttlebody inlet, what then? Start engine? Or will i need an air Compressor?

You need to take the intake pipe off and put the boost leak tester in place of the intake on the turbo. Then you need and air compressor to do the test, the car must be off. I usually check mine around 20 psi.

Do NOT, repeat NOT, start the car with the boost leak tester attached to any part of the intake tract.
