1G-specific PCV hookup

Just rebuilt my engine but I forgot where the pcv hooked up to. Does the tube go to the intake pipe, or intake manifold? At the intake manifold the pcv makes a ticking at idle (new pcv). Also, on my Greddy RS bov I dont know what hooks up to the top tube (got the recirculation and boost controller hooked up to it).

It goes from the valve cover right into the intake mani. Buy OEM because some part store ones wont hold shit for boost.

Blow through it as hard as you can, if any air gets through replace it.

Blowing through it with your mouth will not necessarily show if it can seal properly under higher boost. If you can blow through it then it is clearly defective. However it may hold the relatively weak amount of pressure the average person can create by blowing but still leak under the pressure created by a turbo. Best way that I have found to test it is to unscrew the valve from the VC but leave it hooked up to the IM. Pressurize the system to about 18-20 psi (or whatever max. boost you plan to run at) and listen and feel for leakage past the PCV.

I know this, its an easy test you can perform. Even if it is ok, you still would do a boost leak test.
