Hello everybody I recently purchased a datalogger. I just wanted to know what do I look for now all i have done so far is plug it in start her up and look at what was goin on at idle i know i need to actually drive it to see the good stuff but what should i be looking for I have a 1998 gst. I know im probably running rich because i have my blow off going into the air. I have no cat and soon im going to be putting on a bigger turbo. So like i said any bod give me and info on what to look for if something is wrong thanks alot.

Now you should Log RPM, Timing, and O2. Start in 3rd gear at a low RPM start you log and run it up till redline then stop the log. It should be stored go back over it and look it over. If you see timing being pulled anywhere that usually means your engine is detecting knock.

Since you are no longer recirculating, are you running a BOV that stays closed at idle. I wouldnt suggest doing that unless you have that type of BOV or you have a MAFT. I would also on your link check knock and see how many counts of knock your getting.

A logger is a tool for tuning so lets see whats on your profile.

Speed Mods
Injen intake Apexi n-1 turbo back exhaust HKS blowoff valve Dejon tool intercooler piping Bomex body kit <---- not really a speed mod. Turbo xs dual stage boost controller B&M short shifter Greddy turbo timer

Ok so you have an exhaust setup some ic pipes a mbc and a short shifter.

As far as your data logger all you can do for now is look at the readings but as stated above what do you use for tuning? There are a few write ups and threads on how to tune with a logger but you need the essentials at least, Sacf, maft since I think your venting to atmosphere without one which might cause some problems later down the road trying to tune. And you still need other upgrades as injectors and such. Little more reading and you will get to the point to where you need the logger to tune. :D

Thanks i forgot to mention that i just purchased a hahn super 16g turbo and i am going to be getting a larger fuel pump.

I would keep your boost at stock level until you get bigger injectors. The turbo will flow more air thus needing more fuel. After the fuel pump you might be able to go 1-2psi higher but that depends on how it looks on your logger. You should think about getting a SAFC or an eprom ecu and a chip that would help you out alot.
