Harmonic Balancer for 80$?

My harmonic balancer recently went (yesterday) and my local Mitsubishi parts dealer is not open until Monday. I tried calling a bunch of parts stores around here and one of them said they could have it by Monday and it would be $80. The harmonic balancers in the threads I have seen recently have been purchased for much higher prices, i.e. $140 to $180+. Is this somewhere in the "average" range, or is this a different type of harmonic damper that I don't want? By that I mean, could this be/is there a cheaper sort of harmonic damper that would be bad for my engine? Thanks in advance!

I sure hope so... I'll be ordering one here in a little bit from my local shop, but does anyone else have any idea about these things?

That's a good price. I can't imagine anyone bothering to make a knock-off of that part. I'd go for it.

Ill agree with defiant, there is really no way to make a garbage harmonic balancer. I had mine replaced at a friends shop,the part was $100 so the price your getting is not bad at all.
