Yesterday I go out side to start my car and let it run for awhile and to my surprise it's just dead. No radio lighting up or anything. I assumed it was a battery prob so I try to jump it and still nothing. This morning I had the bright Idea I must have blown a fuse somehow and I was correct. The fuse for the Ignition Switch was blown (30amp) I replaced it and the new one blew the second I turned the key:cry: . What could be causing it to blow right away? I am not good with electrical things so I am at a loss completely. PLEASE help me out

i had the same problem when iput a new motor in. check your starter for a short in in. that is most likely the case. my lazy ass just rewired it to a button under my dash . but definatly check the starter for a lose wire or a spliced wire touchng another piece of metal.

im not too electrical savy myself, but i would start by taking a look at the starter and see if you can see the cable that connect to it nd then check those cables to see if any lose wireds are sticking out and can be touching another peice of metal. u might see some wires sticking off the side and just electrical tape them back where they belong and that might so it but u would have to talk to someone who knows more about shorts and ecletricity for a more specific answer.:thumb:
