Help Super G

Hey everybody i went to install me super 16g today on my 98 gst and the wastgate acuator hits my cooling fan what can i do. This is driving me nuts. I used the spacer plate on my manifold then i took it off to see if it would clear it still doesnt. Yet with out the spacer plate it still clears the motor whats goin on please help. I should mention that the manifold is an obx tubular manifold but it looks like it measures out to be the same size as my stock one.

Where are you using a spacer plate?

Most of the people that have this problem get a slimfan or remove that fan that is touching. Are you measuring the total area the new mani takes up or the bolt pattern?

i have 98gst , and a big16g , nothing is touching (its close but not close enough) i have tubular headers also. Post some pics , get a slim fan , i got a 12" off ebay $50

I am using the spacer plate inbetween the manifold and the head. But after looking at some pics of people that have it installed they are using thier factory manifold with the adapter plate to the t3 style of the super 16g so im wondering if thats my problem. The manifold i have now is a t3 manifold and it bolts right up but maybe it pushes out everything else i know that when I was bolting it up the whole exhaust was raised about 2 inches it was touching the oil pan so maybe if I go to the factory manifold It will work.

I dont think a slim line fan will work I need at least a half inch just to get it out of the blades thank God i looked before we finished and tryed startin it haha.

OH yea and gst98big16g do you have a hahn super 16g or just a big 16g because they are very diffrent as far as size.

One more thing can anybody send me some good pics of the hahn super 16g installed on to a 2nd gen turbo. so i cant see it finished that would help emensly if thats how you spell it haha thanks everybody.
