I'm getting ready to buy a DSM link and i was told that with the 4G63 you can raise the rev limiter to atleast 7700 with stock cams, and still get power and not hurt your motor...Is that true?

I believe the stock rev limit is 7500 or a bit less, which the ECU sends fuel cut. There shouldnt be a problem raising it 200 rpm, specially with dsm link and supporting mods.

Yes, you will want to raise the rev limit to 8000rpm. You should be making power all the way to the redline. You should put more information in your profile on what size turbo you're running (T3/T4 is vague).
