tranny help

ok I already know my intermediate shaft bearing is bad, and i am going to get tit rebuilt, so my help isnt what is wrong its what i need.

I am going to be running. 560cc, safcII, be316g, 1g in a 2g, chipped, stutter box, walbro 255, and aeromotive fpr, 3inch downpipe, 34mm flapper, and a mbc.

My concern is this i want a good transmission rebuild that will be able to handle 350-400whp for the next 3 years. this is NOT a track car. it is a street car. I want to take it to the track one time this summer, and see what i run. I have been looking at shep and jacks transmissions. both are price about the same, but they offer different things.

jacks stage two has everything sheps stage two does except instead of new 3rd, and 4th gear and fork, he gives you a 4 spider and double syncro 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. he also gives a 8 month unlim mile warranty. But shep has been doing tranns longer, and i figure that expreince has to count for something. I would like your opinions on who i should send my tranny too. or if I should look at higher than stage two. I do not plan on going above the 16g for at least 2 to 3 years.

if it isnt going to see much track time, why not go back with a good low mileage stocker. I wouldnt have all the down time, exp with the cash you will have to spend.

ok, well the only ones aroung here for sale are 800 dollars. and I could get mine rebuilt by jacks for that much with a few imporovements. yes downtime will suck but i am already going to have downtime, because part of my problem is my 7-bolt crankwalked on me, I already have the 6-bolt and i figured while it was out i might as well get my tranny rebuilt.

Personally, I'd go for the 4 spider center dif and double synchro gear sets. The top gears aren't going to see that much abuse on a street car.
