Bypassing 2nd oxygen sensor question!!!!!

I really don't like seeing the CEL

I've read the tech articles about doing this, I've got everything that is needed to do it but here is my question

do i wire in the capacitors and the resistors right into the oxygen sensor harness and leave the sensor attached?

or do i wire in the capacitors and the resistors into the harness and totally cut off the O2 sensor??

Cut the harness and do all your work on the computer side of the wiring...then just leave the sensor in so you dont have a leak.

I thought you just had to wrap the sensor in aluminum foil to aviod the CEL.

Thats if the sensor still works....mine was bad so instead of 80 bucks and a chance of ruining it by dragging on the road again, you can make the bypass for 4 dollars and store it under the seat of console.

Check the Tech Guide, there is a step by step write up on it. I have had mine for about 2 months - total cost less than $7.

So after I did the mod I was still gettin CEL's but they are different ones THIS FIXED THE O2 sensor malfunction!!!!!!!!

I luv you guys

now i need more help with these other codes it's spitin out.................................
