some where in Jersey..,
New Jersey
Hey guys/girls
So my 2g coilpack on my 6bolt swap car the coilpack was arching so i decide to swap the coilpack out last night. While i was taking the wire off the coilpack #1 wire the metal piece that goes into the coilpack it was stuck on the coilpack and wire just came out. So last night i try to put the metal piece back on the wire and try to started it up after coming back from looking for new set of wires [but no luck]. So i was using the wires to check if it'll start up so i connect them to 1g coilpack and try to start it up but no luck. The car cranked but caused backfire really loud so swap the wire back on to the 2g coilpack and see if i get lucky but no luck also.
So i was wondering that connection to #1 coilpack coming loose would cause the car not to start?? Also 1g coilpack should work correct since it does crank but cause the car to backfire while i was trying to started it up?
coilpack order is 4-1-2-3 and cylinder is 4-3-2-1 made sure the wire was in the right place. Also fuel pump works since when i crank the car it smells like fuel all over the garage.
Thank you in advance,
Joe
