My main question is which one will hold the boost the best from a tial 38mm and which one will flow better. Anybodys opinions are welcome.

well, that is just a question of do you want an ext dump, or do you want to to go to the rest of the exhaust. the ext dump will flow better, no doubt about it, but it will me MUCH louder. they look good to me.

I would say the open dump tube is going to preform the best. I have a open dump on my car, was cool at first, but now I get kind of annoyed by it. Peopl think there is somthing wrong with that car... but I guess they think it is going to blow up when I do a Anti-Lag studder box launch also, with all its poping and what not.

The best way to do it would be using option A, and then having the dump tube follow the downpipe back about 2 feet. Then have it re-enter the normal exhaust stream right before the flex section. This provides the benefit of not disrupting the flow out of the turbine, nor creating more back pressure, while eliminating the god awful loudness that running an open dump will incur.

I had thought about that but I dont want to have to unbolt it everytime I take the downpipe off.

Also, wouldnt a little back pressure help hold boost a little better. Right now im running a 2.5in downpipe with no cat, connected to a 3in catback and a ported big 16g with a 34mm wastegate creeps a little ........until i have time to port it some more. But I am going to run this external setup on a 50 trim and want the quietness but also at the same time, I dont want to hinder performance or exhaust flow to much. Any other thoughts???

And by the way, all of this help is greatly appreciated!!!

i honestly like the second one better, but i do believe the first one will flow better, i just think the second one looks much nicer and doesnt take up much room, unless proved otherwise i dont think the differences will be too noticable.

I agree with you on the differences not being to noticable......The cars goal is to push 375 FWHP......I beleive at that point the flow wont be extremely crucial. And yes, I love the design and the company told me it would clear the powersteering pump and the oil dipstick but only needing a new fan.

You can just eliminate the A/C fan and keep an eye on the coolant temps, I don't think you'll need a slim fan.
