Blow Thru setup...NEED HELP BAD!! PLEASE!!

Ok so i've been searching around to figure out exactly what i need to change my car to the blow thru setup.....i'm still really confused about exactly what i will need...i have a 97 GS-T with Injen Intake, 3" cat-back exhaust, and the 1st gen. BOV....i know most people will say i don't need the blow thru setup but i really want to do it....can anyone please explain to me exactly what i will need with as much detail as possible so i don't mess anything up...thanks for all the help guys

you need a gm maf sensor and a maf translator and an intake pipe that just has a filter on the end

You also need to put the GM Maf up in the UICP. The maf-translator gen-2 is much better than the gen 1 so I would buy that one.

I'm using dsmlink, so I just bought the gen 1 translator, gm maf, and reducers so it will go on my intercooler piping between the bov and throttle body.

I won't be tuning with it at all, so I just bought it for a more accurate air count and so if one of my couplings blow off then I can limp home and not have to fix it on the side of the road.

There are a lot of mods that you can do before this that will help you a lot more .. but if you really really want it .. then here is a pic to help you out.


The translator was 200
The gm maf was 40
The coupings were 25

So .. minimum you're going to spend 265 on for a maft setup that's going to add no power. It's more of a last resort thing for me, not a buy on a whim thing .. but it's your money and headache.
