Any one know of a good place to get a new one? Or is dealer the only option?

Mine snapped. I need new bolts and everything. Also, I got an auto, but is it supposed to be a 4 armed plate? The manual shows 3, so Im just checking.

Thanks.

Oh yea...Is the gaurd thingy that goes under it important.....I dont have one, but seen something about it in the book, not entirely sure of what that piece even is.

Thanks.

I almost forgot....I was thinkin of making my own out of SS or something...Anyone see a problem with this? Or is this one of those things that is better off with a cheap steel from the factory?

The piece under it is an access plate, it is removed for service of the tranny (removal) it keeps water and dirt out of the torque convertor and rear main seal area, I would get one. The boneyard or a dealer is where to get the flexplate.
