my brother just bought a talon, and got a greddy type s blow off valve in it,but the sound is wayy different then a normal,i got the same bov and it sounds way different then his, he got more like sputter sound, between shifts his bov does sound for a multiplly times.
is it normal,or there is something that he could do something bout it??? thanks alot

the sound you hear is probably flutter.
do both cars have the same or similar mods?
are both blow off valves routed back into the intake?
is the adjustment set the same on both?

well me and him are venting to atmosphere,im using gm maf setup,he got a vpc with SAFC together and 2g maf sensor ,plus he got front mount and external wastegate setup

The greddy bov has a bolt and a screw on top that can be adjusted with an allen wrench. Lowering or raising that screw will make the BOV have a different sound to it. Check them and see if they both are the same, if not, that's the reason they sound differently.

well if you make a harder spring then the bov deff wont flutter, cause his greddy type s is set up really hard, because he runs 26 PSI, ill tryed to adjust mines harder but i didnt get any fluttering sound it was a lil louder and more high pich, then ill adjusted very soft, the i had the fluttering sound, but after i set it up soft i had leaks. so i dont know what else could cause a problem, maybe the air intake pipe and filter helps to make fluttering sound, cause he got 2g injen intake pipe with 2g maf and Greddy Airinx Filter.
