Calgary,
Here's the story thus far

I've got no spark.

CAS is fine
Power transistor is fine
Secondary Coil is fine
Everything is connected.

When I disconnect the power transistor, and turn the car on, or even turn it over, I will not get a CEL. Is this normal?

Primary coil?
ECU dead?

But the CEL comes on, then turns off like all the other lights when you first turn key.

I just don't know what/where else to look for my problems.

I was starting a 3 year sitting laser rs that had that same problem and it ended up that the ecu was trash.

Start at the plugs and work your way back.

Pull the plug (which I imagine you have) and test to see if they arc.
Then check the wire ends to see if they arc.
Then, at night or in a dark place where you can see better, spray them with a water spray bottle to see if they are arcing before the plug end.
Then stick a screwdriver in the coil pack to see if it arcs.
Then check the leads on the coil packs/transistor to see if they're getting the signal from the ECU.
Then check the CAS to see if it's sending a signal to the ECU.

If the CAS is sending it's signal and the coil packs/transistor is NOT receiving the signal, it's either the ECU or in the wiring.

However, this may all be moot.............and just check the caps on the ECU. Which for your car is notorious for going bad and leaking.

I can smell fuel, I guess this means that the injectors are firing, which could mean the ECU would be fine.

Also, when I turn the key the CEL comes on as well as all the other for a couple seconds, as they should, and the CEL turns off. Doesn't come back on. I guess this also means the ECU isn't fubarred?

Do what the wiseman FORMONTOYA says. Thats a perfect start for a diagnosis. If you dont understand something on that list, then come ask.

Then report back.
