Hey, guys, im looking to up the Hp on my 2g Gst to a "Stage-1/Stage-2" as it states here...

I've decided im going with a dejon intake, HKS SSQV BOV, Dejon BC, Apexi GT Cat-back/downpipe, and i want to go with this set up for FMIC and turbo kit...

The ebay FMIC has great reviews from ebay buyers, and previous DSM buyers on these forums too. I just wanted to know if the piping will match up properly to the turbo, and what size fuel injectors, fuel pump, and blah i should go with. Looking to push around 4oohp give or take, just a street fun car to run young kids who think they have fast cars for their money. Is this a proper set up for something like that, without a rebuilt engine or engine mods(i.e cam gears, pistons). If not what might be a proper set up. The car is currently at 55k miles, '98' and its in the shop for a tune up, oil change, and a exhaust leak, and i m having them look at the tranny. please help, ive been searching forums for days, and no enough info to get me were i want to. Partswise, everything you've listed is complete. You might not need the EvoGT manifold, but you might as well take it since the price on that package deal is great (my friend has the same).

Just from what I can see, you will need to modify one of the IC pipes to fit your HKS BOV. Also, don't forget to do a nice port job on your O2 housing to match the DP and the turbo. That is the ebay kit that has been all the rage lately. Instead of an HKS, a Greddy or a 1G BOV will directly bolt on to this kit.
I also suggest that you look into Megan line of products for your downpipe. They are cheaper and run on standard measurements, which makes them just a tad bigger than the Apex'i pipes.

It sounds like you've done your research, which is alot more than can be said of alot of others. Take it slow. You definitely don't want to do all of that at once or troubleshooting will be a nightmare. I'm not sure where fairlown is, but NJ has a pretty tight group of DSMers. Look on some of our local boards and we can help you out some more. Have fun.
 
those startup mods are a good way to start your build...however once you get to the point of upgrading your turbo and intercooler kit, you have to take a look into fuel management because if you don't, your headaches will begin. and once you upgrade something on your fuel, you will have to upgrade something else to support it, you can't run more boost without more fuel (bigger injectors) but then you need an AFC, but then you need more fuel to the injectors so you will need a 255lph and with that comes the FPR....you see what I mean??? If your goal is 400hp, you will need the right upgrades to do it right the first time.

the 16g turbo is good for you now...the ebay fmic kit is a do it yourself type of intercooler.

If you ever do end up hitting the 400hp mark, your only enemy left will be traction! LOL
 
Well if the 400hp mark is hit with out the engine internals rebuilt, it be great! Winter is comming up, and i thoguht it be a great time to get it all done while i wont be driving it as much. Since your telling me not to do this all at once, which are the best ones to do first, besides the exhaust, cause i was looking to do the intercooler by next week, and MAYBE the upgraded turbo. But clutch is going a bit so i might hesitate on that, to replace a stage 2 APC 2100 clutch. I make enough money to do this stuff, but i also want to save money if possible.

ANd someone recently told me this too, there filming The Fast And The Furious 4 over here in NJ, right by Fort Lee!!!! I hope its true cause they need background cars!!!
