minor SSQV problems

i just installed my SSQV on my 2g and im venting it into the atmospher with no MAFT or MAS . today i was driving home and my check engine light poped on so i took it to autozone and they scaned it and told me that my Throtle Position Sensor is closed so i got home and unhooked the battey and was gonna start working on it when my friend called so i hooked the bat. back up and i turned on the car and the CEL was gone has this ever happend to anyone else with a SSQV and if so what other problem's have u ran into. my car has also stall's when i boost in first and then push in the clutch the need falls but dosent stop at 1000RPM and the car dies...

please help!

dont vent to the atmospher or get a maft, it will be worth it

This is your problem. Unless you get a MAFT or VPC or something similiar you will have a problem. Vent it back into the intake and you should be set
