could someone please explain i know the basics IE the bleeder screw need two people but i dont know when to cap it off and when to put the cap back on. thank you

With the 2g you will want to bleed the Master and then the Slave. You want to attach a tube to the bleeder and have a friend hop in the car. Put the tube in a small container filled with some fluid (you don't have to do this, but my friends are idiots and id saves me from starting over if they pull up the pedal before I tell them too). Open the bleeder and have him push the pedal to the floor. You will start to see fluid drain from the tube. As the fluid drain slows, close the fitting. Then have your friend pull the pedal up from the floor. Repeat, until you don't see anymore air exiting the tube. As you work the air out of the system, you will begin to feel resistance and the pedal won't stick to the floor.

Make sure that you keep an eye on your reservoir so it doesn't start sucking air. If it does, you will have to start at the beginning. As for bleeding the slave, you can do that yourself. Open the fitting and push the piston back into the slave and follow the above proecdure of closing the fitting and then releasing the piston.

Basically, you want to make sure that you aren't letting air back into the system. By pushing the piston or pressing down on the pedal, you are applying pressure to the system. Whenever the pressure inside the system is greater than the pressure outside the system, no air can enter the system. That is why you want to close the bleeder before you release the piston or pull up on the pedal.

Installed a rebuilt new 6bolt engine and am using the tranny from the ( 90) 6bolt motor im using since my old one took a crap. Well anyways the clutch in that tranny is old and wore down but appears to be still driveable at least enough to give me time to replace it.
Well we were having problems bleeding the clutch, never did it before and its possible I wasnt doing it correctly but the pedal pressure never felt right and it felt like I only have half a pedal. One guy told me either the master cylinder in that tranny was bad or either the actual pedal springs were bad.. Any one can input on that?
