Winnipeg,
Okay so anyways winter is already here..... and its getting cold. But anyways when i turn my car in the morning when its cold.... the belt alternator belt or the two visible belts near the alternator squeal....well thats where the squealing noise comes from. But when the engine warms up it goes away. But when i spray wd-40 or belt degresser it goes away but then that dries up the next day , it squeals when i turn it on the next day. Squeal just last a minute or so. Not too much of a serious problem since it goes away pretty soon....but i'am just wondering why..... i have a new alternator belt and alternator. How can i get rid of this stupid squeal......its a stupid winter problem...
.
Also another winter problem i get in the winter is my tranny sometimes stalls when my car is very cold. Like when i reverse and put it in drive i have to drive it like stick, i take my foot of the brake and hit gas pedal fast so my rpm's don't drop to 0. If it does hit 0 it stalls like a normal stick.... and yes i got a shift kit on my tranny. But that never happens in summer or when my tranny is warm. Stupid winter main reasons why i don't drive my car in the winter but i have to this year. But their not serious problems..... but i want to get rid of them.
