when you put your boost controller on do you still leave the stock boost solenoid pluged in or take it out completely

First, remove the stock system. Unplug the BCS (or leave it plugged in and toss it aside), remove all the hoses, and cap off both the original source and the fitting before the turbo that the BCS went back to. You won't be needing any of these.

^^ That was written with a 1g in mind. A 2g will likely throw a CEL for having the BCS electrical connector unplugged. The ECU likes to see that it's still there, even though the vacuum lines aren't connected.

To x35: Keep the BCS electrical connector plugged in. You can cap the nipples on it if you want.

And remember: don't tap the BOV vacuum line for your boost controller.

well look at it more tonight and figure it out with the lines and your boost gauge to see if its accurate

I use a Air compressor type boost controller, you can get them at Lows. On 2G's you will hook it up between your wastgate and the boost solenoid and cap off the other hole if you want. I like these ones for the reason you can push the cap down to lock it and you don't have to worry about it popping up. Turbonetics make one that looks just like it.
