Ok my question is can my car bog if my rec. tube has a cut-like open. The cut has been made from numerous of time overtightening the tube the the bov. OR can it be compressor surge at 0 psi; Im not sure if the bov works great at that psi, other than that my bov works great. My a/f ratio gauge (light show) says its rich when letting go fast at 0psi. Can someone please help me out, thanks

I used to have this problem in my 98 GS-T but for some reason it went away. I did however have this problem in my RS too awhile back and it was that the spark plugs i had gotten for it were the wrong kind. They fouled out really quick and you could feel and hear them misfire under any pressure on the gas pedal. Is this what you are talking about or am I just reading this wrong?

I know its not a plug problem; while i do have a misfire problem at idle (weak spark on one of my coils) it does not happen while driving. What happens in my car is when i let go of the foot pedal really fast at 0-3psi (not wot just partial throttle) the car kind of hesitates (running rich when i let go as i can see in my a/f ratio guage) so i don't know if the problem is with the rec. tube that has a nice cut from overtightening the clamp, or having compressor surge at that low psi
