Just wondering how I would set my parking lights up with my alarm. Do I need a relay and what wire to tap into. Thanks for the help

Depending on the output type of your alarm, you can find either a positive or negative polarity parking light wire, in both 1g and 2g cars. If your alarm's parking light output wire can support up to a 10 amp load, then no relay is needed. No relay is needed if you use the negative output from the alarm as well, if you connect to the negative parking light wire in the car. It may be easier to use the postive wires, most alarm outputs are postive polarity.

1g cars:
green/white wire, POSITVE polarity
blue/white OR a grey wire, NEGATIVE polarity

2g cars: green/white wire

NOTE: there are 2 green/white wires, one POSITIVE, one NEGATIVE polarity for the 2g cars, so use a test light to verify. Wires can be found in the driver kick panel area of both 1g and 2g cars.
