I'm in the last step of getting my 14b installed, and something stupid always happens. One of the j pipe bolts fell into the housing and i can't get it out. Is it safe to turn the car on and will the bolt get stuck at the intercooler? I really don't wanna end up damaging my turbo or anything i was just wondering if i could do this. Or would it be best to unbolt the turbo all over again and take it out?

Do Not start the car. Go throw the battery in a locker so you dont get drunk and think its a good Idea later.

Get a magnet and get it out or something, but when you start the car make sure the only bolts around the turbo are one that are supposed to be there and are where they are supposed to be. GoodLuck.

me get drunk? i'm not even old enough to buy! haha, yeah i was actually trying the magnet thing but i need a more powerful and bigger magnet so off to the store i go. Hope this works because i really don't wanna unbolt everything again. Oh and no worries about starting it, my battery is dead, heh.

Yea, Matt's got the right idea. If you start it with the bolts un-known you can throw them through your exhaust housing. Make sure everything is right. You can check by running seafoam through a BOV line when the car is running. That much smoke will find ANY exhaust leak.
