I just removed my 14b to swap in a small 16g and upon removal was in ahh at how white the exhaust side of things were. Is this normal?

The turbo ran great, I ran it on racegas last friday night at 19 psi and pulled a 13.2 on it. Its in excellent shape. I'm just clueless on why its all white like that. I've pulled quite a few turbos and the wheels are usally all carboned up.

I pretty sure I'm not lean I run a wideband through dsmlink and don't tune leaner then 11:0 A/F ratio because of knock. I do however run 3-4 gallons of 110 through it almost every friday night when I take it to the track.

Same thing when I pulled off my exhaust manifold everyone was telling me I was running lean but I told them 110 does that now I can show them this thread.

I would also have to say race gas, my tail pipe gets nices and white. I wouldnt worry about it.
