I have a 92 talon that I will be putting a 90 cas in. Can anyone tell me how the wiring goes. The 92 cam angle sensor has a flat harness with a red wire, 2 black wires and a white wire. The 90 has a red, black, white and yellow. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Oh and also, how do you set the throttle position sensor? I bought a n/t throttle body and had to swap out the sensor so im sure it will need to be adjusted.

Can I ask why your swapping to a 90 CAS? Is there something about them I don't know?

I figured this thread was going to cover swapping over to the 93-94 CAS, the black top CAS w/ the hall effect sensor.

Try searching in the future. Most answers are out there.

If read my original post you wouldve seen that I searched for about an hour with no luck. And as for not going with a newer model, I happened to have this one laying around. Besides the fact that I cant find a 93-94. And am I missing something? what difference does it really make? How many horses will I gain with the 93-94? My guess is none.

Picture the colors on the left as the plug that goes on the 91- cas. They should be in this order.

White - White
Black - Yellow
Red - Red
Black - Black

There are 2 black wires, which one goes with the yellow wire? One is thicker gauge then the other. Is that the one that goes with the yellow wire or is it the thinner one?

I don't see where it says you searched for for almost an hour. I found that ISC adjustment in like 2 mins, you didn't really have to ask for that did you?

Difference is that it plugs right in=(no wiring questions) and has the hall effect sensor, it is my understanding that this is the best DSM cas to have because of this sensor type. And if you ever purchased a 2g this sensor may help get rid of the random misfire code associated with the 1g swap. Or if you had a friend with the random misfire problem you could swap easily and see if this helps. Not saying either of these may be likely but the sensor has the latest design to come out.

I listed the wires in order just like they appear as if you were holding the plug longways.

Yes you did, thank you very much. And thank you as well, auto rst, for the links. I did search for a long time, I guess I wasnt typing in the right thing.

You are welcome for the links, in the future I will post the keywords used and how I got the information. Hope you got the swap working. :thumb:
