starting problems

hey guys
i'm running in to some problems with one of my cars and i figuered i ask you guys
i have a 1g turbo that i got from somebody with 0 compresion in all the pistons so i took it a part check everything nothing look really bad so i seat the valves agains the seats and pour some gas in the chamber and it didn t leak so i put everything togheter and try to start it today but is taking forever to start once it starts it runs fine maybe idle a little higher but otherwise its ok until i turn it off and then the same problem again i pulled the codes and i have 31 knock sensor but it will be so hard to start with a bad knock sensor?before i try to start it i did a compresion test and i have 60 in 2 pistons 90 in 1 and 120 in 1 but lifters were discharged but again once it starts seems to run fine any ideas?btw i have new plugs and cables

Do you have constant fuel pressure? Alot of cars with aftermarket fuel pressure regulators will have the fuel pressure bleed off while the car is sitting and it will take about 10-15 seconds to start.

if your compression is that low...your screwed
