Just getting some thoughts on a pocket logger program..if anyone could post some links to some id appricate it

Heres some! With some of them the adapters are separate and the palm may be separate.

Im using obd gauge and its pretty easy. But wish i could use palm-n-stein. Ive installed it on my pda and it looks nice and more options. But some programs want work with all adapters.

Make sure the cable you have is the right one. If it's just a small OBDII connector on one end and a RS232 on the other end, it won't work for OBD Gauge or Palm-n-Stein. The proper "interface" has circuitry built into it, so the OBDII end will usually be a box. Multiplex Engineering's T16-003 interface is what will work for both of these.

I'm not sure what cable the Pocketlogger package uses, but they say that it's equivalent to your CD key for licensed software, so it's probably special and not the same as the Multiplex interface.

Most of the problems I see folks having with these loggers is that they have the wrong interface and don't know it. Make sure yours is correct.
