Hi there.
I'm looking for a fan temp switch which turns on the fan on lower degrees that stock ones. Anyone has it? And where can I get one?
Thanks for help.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I want to lower coolant temp. Using a slightly lower thermostat is good idea (i'm about to get one), but together with it guess I need the fan switch to turn earlier, otherwise what's the point of using lower degree t-stat? I was reading "overheating" topics and came up with idea that overheating is like a non-described feature of Eclipses :) While driving there is no overheating but once you are in jammed traffic... :( So, using a lower degree t-stat with stock fan switch won't help much I guess. I know there are such switches for Hondas on market (I used to have civic a while ago) but I cannot find same one for Eclipse :(

You can buy universal fan controllers. Some of them have variable speed control as well as an adjustable thermostat. If that's what you're looking for check out http://www.summitracing.com/ and search for "fan controller", they range in price from $20-$160.

Thanks for your replies.
Meanwhile, I just was told in the shop that most likely my fan thermo-switch "passed away". When the temperature raises, only one fan turns on and another one starts only when the gauge appears in red zone... But anyway, I'm thinking about changing thermostat and fan swich into lower degree.
Thanks again for your help.

Little offtopic - I'm new in DSM so I'd like to ask - is it just my luck or eclipse does has this "overheating" problem? I've heard Mitsubishi had plans leaving american market.
