Where to buy Data Logging Program?

Ok so I've been reading a lot here, maybe posting a few redundant questions, but now I've got a question on purchasing something. I have a 1G and was curious where I can buy a data logging program for my laptop (Toshiba Satellite w/Windows XP) and a data logging cable.

I've started reading the Tech Articles and want to get started learning first hand. Thank you.

Since you have a 1G, MMCd is pretty much the best program you can get your hands on. This tech article has instructions on how to obtain MMCd, and how to make your own datalogging cable.

Since you're using a laptop, you'll need this desktop emulator to run MMCd on it (which was originally designed for use with PalmOS).
