lash adjuster

im putting my head back together myself(is a 1g turbo).Some of my valves won't close all the way.so im pretty sure is my adjusters not being bleed out.i try doing the trick with the paper clip but i just can't find the spot and the clip keep breaking.just want to hear form people whom actually done this before and how they did it or if they got know where to get some super strong paper clips that don't break? alos what if i get brand new 3g adjusters,would they need bleeding out?thanks

I just bled some lifters tonight. But here is how I did it. Take the lifter and hold it upside down and take a really small allen wrench and stick it all the way through the bottom (or a paper clip) and turn it upside down and pump the lifter in and out till the oil comes out of it. Good luck man
