I have a 92 talon AWD. I just bought the car from my brother. Well he owned it it had jumped timing and bent valves. The head was pulled and rebuilt. It was running again and while taking it for a test ride jumped timing again at about 5mph and died. come to find out the valve cover and cam seals where junk and was spraying oil all over the timing belt making it slip off. it was checked with a borascope and nothing was wrong piston wise so car was retimed and now has 0 compression across the board. head studs are all tight. Any ideas of what it could be? Please help!
 
0 compression at all? check your tool possibly if not i'd say your valves are bent. I know how you feel though same thing happened to me except mine wont run with the new head :(.
 
Yeah it has 0 compression across the board. Im gonna check with a new compression tester tomorrow. Im dumb fonded. I noticed that all the rockers were tight except for 3 but they were all in the same cylinder. So im thinking bent valves but i wouldnt of thought they all would be bent. If the timing was off alittle would that make 0 compression?
 
You would have to really have bent them and all of them too. When I first bent valves I had like 60psi in some cylinders but never 0. If it only jumped 1 tooth I couldn't see how it could bend all of them.
 
Start from the beginning and remove that head for another inspection. Do a leak down test before you do that tho, that should give you some accurate info on where u should go from there.
