Will a gst exhaust work on a gsx?

Hey guys I currently have a 97 gst and ive nocticed from the previous owner that the rear unibody is rotting out. I have found a good gsx shell im going to buy and drop my motor in it. I have a Apexi N1 3" exhaust. Occording to the dsm graveyard the N1 exhaust will work for the gst and gsx does anyone know if this is true?

Im not sure if that specific model does or not. But, typicaly GST and GSX exhaust dont work on each other. They are pre-bent to the contours and curves of the underbody. GST and GSX have different curves. Have to take into considertion the GSX has an extra drive train so the bends have to be different than they would on the GST.

That is what i thought they were different but well on the dsm graveyard i saw that the n1 they said fit both just didnt know cause it seemed strange to me.

Agreed, the GST exhaust won't work on a GSX. I know as I was sold a GST downpipe back exhaust and was told it was a GSX, found out the hard way bro.

you can look in the classifieds and find some pretty nice and decently priced ones. that would be your best bet if you wanted to save a couple dollars.
