weird sputtering

alright, so i was driving today on my lunch break and my car was fine then when i was driving back to work i would get on it a little bit and it would bog out and make this weird sputtering noise, and barely accelerate at all. I have no clue what it is, does anyone know what it could be? I tried looking through some othere sputtering threads but i cant seem to find an answer.

could be a few things really.
1. boost leak
2.mas air issue
3.plugs/wires ( ###### your first thing to check into)
4. tps going bad
5.dirty throttle body preventing it form opening fully under more throttle.

My advice check the plugs and wires first make sure theres no water or oil and they are not shot then check the wires adn coil pack . If you arent getting a good enough spark while driving the gas wont combust and you will bog out . Also do you have any CEL codes? or no ?

As mentioned above. Start with the simple stuff, do a boost leak test, check your spark plugs and wires, and report back.

well i got a similar problem, my car will not start, its like its not getting a spark. before it would start really good but when i reved the engine it wouldnt go past 2500 rmp, any idea what this could be? they have told me it could be the ignition coil, or the mass air flow

yeah it could be either of those i had the same issue the other day while i was drivingi couldnt go pasted 2500 rpms and i poped my hood and my coupler for my intake pipe ot the throttle was broke so fixed it and alls good
