DSM meet Feb. 3 in Kansas
Hello everyone. I have been tryin to get local dsms together for some time now and here is a chance. There is an indoor go-cart track in topeka, ks. and we have decided to set up a meet. Saturday, February the 3rd we will be meeting there around 1 pm. We will say hello, meet everyone, check out the cars, and then have a blast at racing eachother on go-carts. after that, we can go on a cruise around northeast ks. maybe a photoshoot is possible. In the end we will all meet back up on wanamaker in topeka where we can show of the rides and possibly race on the streets haha . if there are any questions or comments you can contact me on my cell 785-393-3632. if i dont answer then leave a message with your name and number and i would be glad to get back with you. thanks to all and i hope to see most of you there!!!

How far are you talking about driving, because I'd like to use as little gas as possible. I mean I'm all up for a cruise after the carts, but are you talking about an all day event or what.

I thought Bryce said that go kart place was over here near OP??? I dunno for sure if I'll be able to make that trip, I'll have to wait and see whats goin on as that weekend gets closer. Plus we still have to get bryces car back together, we are close, but the weather isn't cooperating

The one that I go to is over here in OP. Im guessing there is another one out in Topeka. The one out in Topeka would be better because people that are farther east dont have to drive as far, so we are more likely to get more of them to show.

im sorry i was under the impression that the track was in topeka..so its in op?? ok there is one in topeka and i will get prices and directions to that one. The one u talked about bryce is in op. my mistake. lets plan on the one in topeka, agreed?? and then the cruise can then be back to op where we can meet up there again. does that sound like a plan to everyone?? let me know and keep me posted.

Thats fine. Like I said in the previous post, I think the one in Lawrence would draw more people because of not having to drive as far.
FYI, the saddlers that I go to is $47 for 30 mins. It used to be $30 for 30 mins. but the powers that be said otherwise and now they are ripping us off .

We can start out in Topeka and maybe grab a bite to eat somewhere then head out to Saddlers. Or just whatever. Doenst matter to me.
I just remembered that Saddlers is actually in Olathe (its right at the border thats why it took me so long to remember), which is good cause we dont have to drive as far east.

That would be Nascart (saddlers)then in overland park, I go there whenever I possibly can, been there quite a few times... I might have to try and make it out there But If I do come I'll be in my white mr2 turbo because I doubt my tranny will be back from Shep in time... Trust me though 25$ for 15 minutes wears you out... I normally do 2-3 15 minute intervals...#7 cart is the fastest FWIW....

I never thought of doing it like that. I always do the full 30 min and that wears you out big time. Doing it in intervals is a good idea that way you can rest and if you get a bad cart you can get a different one on the second go.

Are you guys eating at jacks in lawrence or are you just meeting there?
I'll cruise out there tonight after I get off of work and I'll see if there are any good places close to saddlers to eat at.

I just remembered that there is a Buffalo Wild Wings right across the street from Saddlers. So how about we meet a BWW at 1-1:30, meet, greet, eat, and then go racing.
