lost in omaha

Holy shit I have been here for over a week (working on offutt afb) and there is abs. nothing. No nice cars, no dsms... nothing. Everytime I try to talk to a local about the car scene they blow me off. What ever happend to nice friendly people?? Or people in general. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills in this town!

Well, now that you mentioned it, its true. There isn't really a hole lot of dsm's here in Omaha. I don't know about the people though? I'm pretty sure there are some cool dsmers around here. I went out for a spin some minutes ago and didn't see anything, hell, no even a ricer!

oh hell no, theres alto of people, they're just hard to find, our local dsmclub has like 200 people. trust me, were just very spreadout.look more into bellevue and western Omaha, towards oakview mall if you can find it .

I live somewhat close to oak view mall and haven't seen anybody.
Now, talking about rude people. I don't know what is it about the honda/acura guys but they seem to be very cocky and rude, shit! just a couple of days ago I was going from my folks house to my apartment and I was at the stop lights on 132nd and harrison minding my own bussines listening to some jazz, when all of a sudden this read acura integra passes by and thinks that he has smoke me. So I'm thinking to my self "huh, does he think that I'm racing him? I hope not, but that was a very nice integra" (I think he had a turbo because it sounded like a whistke everytime he shifted). Anyways, down by 136th and Q, infront of O'rallies the punk in the integra starts to slow down to wait for me. So, in the prosses of aproaching him, i'm thinking "well, I'll just give him props for his veicle and ask him what's up". You know, introduce myself, meet up at some place and make some cool conversation, ask him if he knew some people to hang around and stuff. Well, as soon as I aproached him, I told the guy hows it going and that his car was nice. Well the punk just ignored me and give me this shitty look, turns to his chick and accelerates. Ofcourse, I ignored him and continued driving. That's what I get for trying to be sociable.
As I mentioned before, is this only in the honda people? or is it only in Omaha/Millard WTF
