New member, new car, NEED HELP.

I just got a 90 eclipse gs from my aunt today. I need to know where to look for speed. I already have an injen short ram intake and lowering springs set for order, as well as anti sway bars. That's about where my search ended. I need to know what cat backs and headers are available for my car. Any help would be appreciated guys. I don't want to be the fastest, but I want to shut up all those punk civic drivers out there like I used to with my integra, before it died. Thanks buddies.

if you really want to run fast you may want to look into trading up to a gst or gsx. headers, exhaust, intake, and springs will run you the difference in price and you will still not be as fast as the gst.

I see what you're saying, but I don't know how I'd go about trading up. you mean like heading to a dealer and trading up my ride for a gst and pay the difference? I wish I could but I have no cash, I'll probably just end up paying for my parts with my credit cards. So if I were to stay with my gs, what kind of speed do you think I could attain with moderate tuning and no turbo? I don't plan to take out the engine and vulletproof it and bore it out, I'll probably just bolt on mods. Do you think it would at least be satisfingly fast?

Trading up is always a option unless $$$ inhibits you .. you may want to invest in headers and exhaust , but from personal exp.. after you play w/ your exhaust , try beefing up your internals(cams,crank,rods,pistons, head,v. springs)then think about a turbo kit or NOS ..remember if your internals cant handle it .. it's not worth it

Save your money on the headers. They only add like 2hp. I would say your best mod for the money would be a UDP. $160 8-12 hp. Check them out a www.howellautomotive.com
