So, the other day i was doing a boost leak test again, and found something leaking behind throttle body, though it might be throttle body gaskets, so i changed them, but the air was still blowing in that area, finally after hour of testing i found that either somebody cut my vacuum line or it blew off the nipple. From what i understand it is a Y line that goes to the EGR valve, for now i zip tied the vacuum line and need to find a new one. I am not sure on measurements and where i can get those. Can you guys please help me find a vendor that sells vacuum lines like the one that goes to the EGR valve. BTW, after i zip tied the EGR vacuum line the car was able to get to 15PSI without rattling, now its time to fix everything haha.

Do you guys ever happen to have them blow off the nipple or you guys would consider this a clear cut ? The only reason it would blow off if the EGR valve would get clogged, would that be a reason to buy a new one ? My car passed emission test when i just bought it, but with a malfunctioning EGR i wouldn't be able to, is that true ?

Another question is, i also found a leak in 1st left injector, i wonder why would my injector leak ? i thought only gas passes through it, anyways, where can i find EVO8 injector seals ? i found some on Ebay/set for 30$ would that be too expensive or just about the price others would charge ?

As long as the vacuum line is secured to the EGR I think you will be fine, unless the vacuum line is damaged in some way, or has holes in it. You can buy vacuum line at any parts store in you're area if you feel the need to replace it.

Injector seals are not that expensive, I'm sure if you looked around you may find some cheaper but $30 seems like a fair price to me. The reason air leaks past the injectors Is because they are seated in the intake manifold. If you have an old set of seals that are brittle, and hard they may no longer be up to the task sealing the injector/intake manifold and should be replaced. Even a new set may have a small leak around the injectors at times, some people us a very "light" coat of RTV to aid in sealing. When I say light, I mean paper thin.

Good luck bro

Gotcha, well if autoparts shops sells them then i might as well go there and get some except people that work there are dumb as hell, they wont even try to help you unless you know the size, diameter and all that stuff.. But thanks anyways, ill try and do that, and yes i will need to replace this vacuum line because now its not even connected to the EGR, and for that matter i am wasting gas.

I got the injectors from the guy here on forum, he shipped them to me without seals i believe (i dont remember correctly), and i think i put my old seals around new injectors. Well i guess that has to be changed too. I know for sure that i lost one of the spacers that sit between intake manifold and fuel rail, do you think that will put me into a trouble ? If yes, where can i possibly find them ? i doubt it is even listed in car parts LOL :)

A new injector seal set should come with top and bottom seals, ive even seen some more expensive ones come with new pigtail connectors for all 4 injectors. You'll never know whats being held local until you try a few places out. Napa has usually been my go to for things like that. If anything they usually have distribution centers close enough to get it in same day (if you go in the morning)

Lower injector seals are notorious for boost leaks.I just replaced mine.450s 550s and 560s are the same seals. I got mine at napa . $4.50 per injector includes upper oring seal , upper insulator, lower insulator and some plastic piece. The upper insulator didn't fit my stock 450s or evo8 560s. They had them in stock, however they have another p/n for the turbo application that won't work. I'll post the p/n that worked tomorrow, its at the shop.
