2G Door Help.

Hows it going everyone. My Door is hanging lower than it should be. Ive read the haynes manual and everything but the hinge doesnt look to be the problem. The problem is the pin in the lower hinge moves. Ive included a pic of what i mean. Thanks for the help.

I would look for a new replacement hinge. There are tons of people parting out 2G's. The head of the pin looks bent or very badly worn. The folded edge on the bottom of the door in the pictures looks like the paint is chipped off. I would take a wire wheel to it and put some touch up paint on that before the bottom of the door rusts out as well.

Call DSM Graveyard at 269-226-4463. They have a bunch of doors in stock. I know for a fact that they have at least 1 white hinge for the 2g so you wont even need to paint it to match.
